Do You Want This?

Before you commit your time and resources to build something, try to figure out if your audience really wants it.

You won’t know if something will work until you finish and ship it. But you might get an idea if it could work if you ask.

If your audience says they want what you intend to create, it’s a good sign that you’re on the right track. This, of course, doesn’t guarantee success, nor does it mean that people will actually buy what they say they want.

But you have to start somewhere. And asking your audience is a good place to start.
